Scientific name: Crassula ovata
Description
An old plant that has started to get a very nice red border on leaves now that I’ve moved it into the sun.
I’ve had this plant since I was 4. One leaf was glued onto a pre-school artwork of mine, all those years ago. The leaf fell off, so Mum said I should plant it, it might grow. Well it sure did! Three decades later, it’s looking healthier than ever.
The first time it has ever flowered was in 2021! An amazing feat after 34 years, and probably related to moving it into a much more sunnier position.
