This one grows a bit wild but apparently is good for deterring aphids - so we have it growing underneath our rose bushes. It kinda grows across both our garden and our neighbour’s, because nature doesn’t stop at artibrary borders. I hear it’s totally edible and I have been partial to munching on the peppery leaves as a kid.
We have a few different colours (yellow, orange) but I think red is my favourite. It’s a very intense colour.
It’s a scrappy plant at times, but I like it. It feels a bit old fashioned.
